Our Services and Programs

Anesthesiology
This is a strong arm in the operating room, the Department of Anesthesiology performs a highly specialized task in life-saving hospital procedures. Over the years, it has endeavored and evolved to reclaim its position as a medical specialty concerned in all aspects of management of the perioperative patient. The work force for anesthesia service continues to undergo dramatic change relating to its supply, diversity and function.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology
In Uganda, Kadic Health Services (KHS) has pride to declare that children born in Kadic Hospital Bukoto are not only advantaged but are also privileged. The department has remained focused on its objective to contribute to the national effort of improving the quality of life of the people by enhancing comprehensive maternal and Postsnatal care delivery through excellence in its programs.

Surgery
Two theatres manned by 4 specialist Surgeons. Are equipped with cardiac monitoring machines, C-arm x-ray and monitoring system facility (one of only two in Uganda) and Excellent functioning anesthetics machine with both manual and automatic ventilators. C-ARM Fluoroscopy in the theatre for fast Fluoroscopy assists in reductions of fractures and dislocations.

ART Center
We are Ministry of Health accredited antiretroviral therapy (ART) providers. We provide free Antiretroviral drugs for our registered clients. The clinic is run daily at Kadic Clinic Nakulabye.

Laboratory
This started with a task of performing the simplest of laboratory tests – blood counts, stool and urine analyses – in a small room, but now the laboratory become a more sophisticated diagnostic center in Uganda. We now have a Blood Bank, Hematology, Clinical Microscopy, Clinical Chemistry Surgical Pathology, and Microbiology. We have a section where we recieve specimens like blood, urine, feces, sputum, and tissues. The Laboratory caters for Kadic inpatients and Outpatients. Very soon we shall cater for Out-pay referrals.Since the laboratory plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis and therapeutic regimen of clinicians, the department maintains the highest level of accuracy and precision of its examination results.

Radiology
The Department of Radiology provides service to the Hospital through its diagnostic and radiotherapy sections. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, these include the Xray, CT Scanner, and Ultrasound Scan units, the department continues to keep pace with advances in modern medicine in its bid to efficiently serve the diagnostic and therapeutic needs of its patients.

Urology
At our Urology centre we are committed to providing excellent medical care in the specialty of urology.

Fertility Center
KADIC performs investigative fertility studies for both male and female in collaboration with Kampala Fertility Centre. Using our manpower and facilities we assist in harvesting eggs for IVF. (In-Vitro-Fertilization). Video assisted Laparoscopy is performed at Kadic Hospital by Dr. Patel.

CT Center
Located at Kadic Hospital Bukoto, Computer Tomography (CT) Scanner provides comprehensive diagnostic services to our clients. (one of the only four in the country).

Phamacy
Our Pharmacy in Nakulabye is manned by graduate Pharmacist and is fully stocked with all brands of drugs which are allowed by NDA. We emphasize European and Egyptian branded supplies.

Dental Surgery
Kadic Dental at Bukoto Hospital is manned by two Dental Surgeons on complementary basis and one Dental clinical officer. Try it, you will have a smile of a lifetime.
