This started with a  task of performing  the simplest of laboratory tests – blood counts, stool and urine analyses – in a small room, but now  the laboratory become a more sophisticated diagnostic center in Uganda. We now have a Blood Bank, Hematology, Clinical Microscopy, Clinical Chemistry Surgical Pathology, and Microbiology. We have a section where we recieve specimens like blood, urine, feces, sputum, and tissues.  The Laboratory caters for Kadic inpatients and Outpatients. Very soon we shall cater for Out-pay referrals.Since the laboratory plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis and therapeutic regimen of clinicians, the department maintains the highest level of accuracy and precision of its examination results.
