Kadic Health Services ::

Kadic runs a medical facility on Plot 86, old Kiira road, Bukoto and out-patient 24-hour clinics at Nakulabye and Kampala road. Kadic Hospital Bukoto has fully fledged units, with modern and state-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities. Some of these include inter alia:

A.   Surgery: Two theatres manned by 4 specialist Surgeons. Are equipped with cardiac monitoring machines, C-arm x-ray and monitoring system facility (one of only two in Uganda) and Excellent functioning anesthetics machine with both manual and automatic ventilators. C-ARM Fluoroscopy in the theatre for fast Fluoroscopy assists in reductions of fractures and dislocations.

B.   ART Centre: We are Ministry of Health accredited antiretroviral therapy (ART) providers. We provide free Antiretroviral drugs for our registered clients. The clinic is run daily at Kadic Clinic Nakulabye.

C.   Laboratory Unit: Kadic Hospital Bukoto has a fully fledged Lab with state-of-the-art equipment. We do most of the modern investigations.

D.   Fertility Centre: KADIC performs investigative fertility studies for both male and female in collaboration with Kampala Fertility Centre. Using our manpower and facilities we assist in harvesting eggs for IVF. (In-Vitro-Fertilization). Video assisted Laparoscopy is performed at Kadic Hospital by Dr. Patel.

E.   CT Centre: Located at Kadic Hospital Bukoto, Computer Tomography (CT) Scanner provides comprehensive diagnostic services to our clients. (one of the only four in the country)

F.    Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation: Our Physiotherapy Unit is manned by two therapy specialists. They also provide regular home and workplace care visits.

G. Pharmacy: Our Pharmacy in Nakulabye is manned by graduate Pharmacist and is fully stocked with all brands of drugs which are allowed by NDA. We emphasize European and Egyptian branded supplies.

H.   Dental surgery: Kadic Dental at Bukoto Hospital is manned by two Dental Surgeons on complementary basis and one Dental clinical officer. Try it; you will have a smile of a lifetime.

I.      VCT Centre: Our Voluntary and Routine Counseling and Testing (VCT) centre is located at Nakulabye clinic. Meet Mr. Jim Lwanga, a renowned Psychotherapist & a Counselor for all your social, health, economical and spiritual problems.

J.    Urological Center: Performs intricate surgery for removal of elderly prostates, resection or total hysterectomy. An average of 100 operations is performed per month. A Ľ of these are major surgical interventions.

K.   Mothers Home: The home is the new innovation at Kadic Hospital Bukoto. Mothers are fully prepared from their first visit until delivery. Come and pick a consultant of your choice.

L.    X-ray & Ultrasound Unit: Kadic is renowned for its excellence in imaging diagnostics. Kadic has recently installed a Color Doppler and Spectral + Real time Ultrasound Machine which makes diagnosis of general Ultrasound Examinations of the Abdomen, Vessels and Antenatal Sonography a much easier job.

M. Children’s Clinic: Also known as pediatric clinic is manned by a resident pediatrician. Come and receive free immunization and post-natal counseling.

N.   Emergency and Rescue Unit: Ambulance Service 24 hours is accessed by all our clients. All pre-paid MCHP members can access this facility any time.

O. A 24-hour helpline: Allows our clients to access medical advice from our health workers and providers throughout the day.

P.   Expansion: Over the next months, Kadic plans to establish an Endoscopic and Colonoscopic units, a Renal Dialysis and Intensive Care units, and two more state-of-the-art theatres, and to begin upward expansion of the existing facility.
